I think God might have used this book to convince me to buy a purity ring and wear it as a symbol. As well you really need to be in God’s Word and in prayer when wanting to date or like someone. Dating isn’t a hobby and shouldn’t be treated like that! With dating someone, comes responsibility and serious sacrifice. I learned that dating comes with some serious responsibility and isn’t something that you can just throw around in your mind. They both basically took the guys and girls and showed them some things that need work on. They didn’t hold back at all (Which I’m a fan of because I like when authors/speakers say the things people don’t say or are either thinking.) I also loved how the two authors focused on some serious points from both ends of the genders. ![]() I also appreciated that both authors were very straight forward about things. It definitely made references to God but he didn’t use too many scriptures. I loved that the authors didn’t over spiritualize things and made it common sense and/or just in a simple way of understanding. It gave me a few perspectives of how dating should go and even look like in God’s eyes. ![]() I thought this book was pretty neat to read. ![]() |
